This restaurant is inside Double Tree Hotel which I personally like. It has wide parking space outside. The servers are very courteous and helpful. Seats are comfortable. There is adequate space in between tables. I have to say the steak tasted exquisite and very good! The shrimp scampi was amazing! Everything was delicious! The ambience was perfect for any celebration you might have and will definitely come back here more often! Oh, just found out their hot tea is hot water with lemon, that is $4.50 plus tax. I was kind of disappointed because there was no tea bag at all, so how can that be tea? Anyways, please BE AWARE and DO NOT ORDER HOT TEA as they will just share hot water and lemon:(

The sea bass was really good. Melted in my mouth. No chewing was needed. The creme brulee was really good, but I was too full to finish the whole thing.

Ate at Porter steakhouse at the Doubletree hotel in Ontario last night. have not eaten here in probably 20 years, but had someone out of town who was staying at the hotel. Ordered it our table was lamb chops, Chilean Seabass, and steak with scampi, all were excellent. Probably the only disappointing thing was when you enter the hotel. They have a podium with the menu. It had duck which my husband would've liked he hast to waitress and she said we haven't a duck in five years. That's an old menu that the manager never changed. Well what the heck is the manager doing if he can't change the menu. Prices on that menu in the foyer were also wrong. I ordered a margarita which I think was 1750 but might've been more - and it was like a little juice glass. The food was all excellent but I think you get the same things and another local local restaurant probably about $10 less per plate.
